Brenda and Roger Savery from West Down Farm Guest House are flying the

flag for Devon as a finalist in the AA’s Friendliest Bed and Breakfast of the

Year 2013. This is a great achievement for West Down Farm which is one of

25 finalists shortlisted from over 2,600 bed & breakfasts inspected by the AA.

All the finalists have been nominated by the AA’s Hotel Inspectors and the

winning B&B will be awarded the coveted title.

The West Down citation reads

Situated between South Molton and Torrington, West Down Farm is a beautiful
16 th Century farmhouse set in stunning countryside. Guests receive a genuine warm welcome

and Brenda is always on hand to answer any questions, suggest places to visit and

provide wonderful home cooked, and often home grown, meals. The four guest rooms

all provide an excellent standard of accommodation even for the less mobile.

Speaking of her nomination for AA’s Friendliest B&B Brenda said,

“I strongly believe that I am lucky to live in such a beautiful place and I genuinely

love to welcome guests to our home.”
